Maths tutoring has always been my passion, it has led to students getting to their desired courses at top universities. Regardless of what students aim to do in their higher education, I believe a good understanding of mathematical concepts helps significantly with developing problem-solving skills essential for a successful career.

Physics Tutoring is exciting as Physics is the science of excitement. It allows us to learn the laws of nature from interaction of subatomic particles to origin of Universe and interaction of planets and stars.

I have tutored the following levels/topics both online and on a one-to-one basis.

GCSE – OCR, Edexcel, AQA and iGCSE – legacy and 9-1

International Baccalaureate (IB) – Standard and Higher

Advance Placement (AP)

A-Levels (AS/A2) – Edexcel, AQA, OCR and Pre-U, legacy and new syllabus (from 2017):

  • Mechanics & Further Mechanics
  • Electric Circuits
  • Fields (Electric, Magnetic, Gravitational)
  • Materials
  • Waves and Particle Nature of Light
  • Nuclear and particle physics
  • Space
  • Nuclear radiation
  • Oscillations

It began with Physics. Physics encompasses the study of the universe from the largest galaxies to the smallest subatomic particles. Moreover, it’s the basis of many other sciences, including chemistry, oceanography, seismology, and astronomy (and can be applied to biology or medical science).

Chemistry Tutoring takes me back to those days when I chose to study Petroleum Engineering at University.

I have taught the following levels/topics both online and on a one-to-one basis.

GCSE – OCR, Edexcel, AQA and iGCSE – legacy and 9-1

International Baccalaureate (IB) – Standard and Higher

A-Levels (AS/A2) – Edexcel, AQA, OCR and Pre-U, legacy and new syllabus:

  • Physical Chemistry
  • Inorganic Chemistry
  • Organic Chemistry

Chemistry is the study of matter and its properties, it is sometimes called “the central Science,” because it bridges physics with other natural sciences, such as geology and biology.

It is a wide-ranging science concerned with matter at the atomic and molecular scale. Important facets are synthesis, structure, microscopic mechanisms, properties, analysis and transformations of all types of materials.

Geology Tutoring is rewarding as Geology is the study of the Earth – how it works and its 4.5 billion-year history.

I studied Petroleum Geosciences which consists of application of Geology and Geophysics in exploration and production of oil and gas.

I have tutored GCSE, A-level and university students in Geology & Geophysics, both online and one-to-one basis.

The majority of my Geology & Geophysics tutoring is with university students who study those subjects as their major or a module during their degree. This includes research, course work and dissertations.

Currently students can study Geology as an independent A Level or GCSE subject in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Geology is also taught when it overlaps with other subjects, as part of the science and geography curriculum.

Geologists study some of society’s most important problems, such as energy, water, and mineral resources; the environment; climate change; and natural hazards like landslides, volcanoes, earthquakes, and floods.

I obtained my 3 degrees with scholarships in Petroleum Geosciences and Engineering. Besides tutoring, I am a Geoscientist with more than 10 years of experience in research and operation, passionate about Sustainable Development: Social Inclusion, Environmental Protection and Economic Growth.

The skills and experiences that I have acquired in the energy industry have enabled me to bring to students not only the knowledge and essential skills such as creative thinking, critical thinking and problem solving in the academic context but also the experience of applying those skills to the real-world problems in the science and engineering sector.

I was a teaching assistant during my academic years. Since graduating from IFP School in 2009, I have tutored people in my social circle. Since 2016, I have tutotred students and career changers at various levels and from a variety of backgrounds.
